Malware files, junk files and cookies may hinder performance and productivity of your computer. To curb this ensure you have an antivirus software ‘manning’ your computer at all times.

This tools also automatically run scans  on many aspects of your computer eg things slowing down your computer and viruses that may be a threat to your computer.

4. Store your data, photos and videos in the cloud storage.

Cloud storage is one of the safest way to store your data. You can automatically save data to the cloud and delete it from your computer hence decluttering your computer.

5. Clear your email inbox

The hundreds of emails sent by websites and email lists you have subscribed to are other culprits that clutter your computer. Clearing emails frees up space for new emails and give new life to your computer. Old emails that are no longer needed should take up a lot of space. Emails older than 6 months are safe to delete unless you still need to refer something from them.
